주어 is worth 명사/동명사ing (to부정사는 틀려!)

It's worth it. (it이 붙는 이유와 의미)

늦잠자다:

get up late (라고 말했더니 틀린 표현은 아니지만 다른 표현이 더 잘 쓰인다고)

Sleep in (일부러) 늦잠자다

Oversleep (모르고/실수로) 늦잠자다

 

Tomorrow is Sunday so I will sleep in.

Oh my gosh I overslept so I missed the bus.

 


 

날마다 달라요 / 때에 따라 달라요. (Everyday is different. 내가 쓴 표현ㅎ)

-> (It) depends on a day. / days. (it은 보통 생략)

외식하다 / 시켜 먹다 / 야식 / 배달 / 집밥

How often do you order in food? (집에서 음식 주문할 때) 그냥 order는 식당에서. order in은 집에서. 집으로 들어오는 느낌으로

(Delicious는 잘 안쓰는 표현.)

Would like to 동사: ~하고 싶다. = want

want = be in the mood for 명사/to 동사 = feel like ~원하다

-> I'm in the mood to go to a ______ for dinner. (왜 여기선 to go 가 되었지???)

I'm not in a good mood. 오늘 기분이 안좋아.

-> kinda / sorta 로 줄여쓸 수 있음.

I'm kind of like pizza. (뒤에 like나오니까)

나라 앞에는 the를 안붙임. 예외 2개 나라 - The U.S.A / The U.K


How come? 어째서요? why? (how come?과 why?의 차이 - 일상 대화에선 how come?이 더 자연스러움)
